Everton welcome Leeds to Merseyside for this round of Premier League fixtures.

David Moyes is looking for a second successive victory after defeating Aston Villa last time out, thanks to a goal from Thierno Barry – which put Everton just four points away from the top four.

It is sure to be a difficult game however, with Leeds suffering just one defeat in their last ten matches across all competitions.

Despite that run of form, Ally McCoist is still backing the Toffees to overcome Daniel Farke – who praised Everton in his press conference.

Everton fans, let’s hear your score predictions for the Leeds United game!

Can the Toffees build on that brilliant win vs Aston Villa? 🤔

Ally McCoist backs Everton to record a 2-1 win over Leeds United

The 63-year-old and Darren Fletcher have now shared a score prediction for each Premier League match of this round.

McCoist backed Everton for a 2-1 win over Leeds, while his fellow TNT Sports commentator sat on the fence and went for a 1-1 draw.

The fact neither of them are tipping Everton for a loss against one of the division’s form teams speaks volumes about the environment Moyes has created, although the Toffees cannot afford to be complacent around Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has bagged eight goals in his last ten Premier League outings.

A win for Everton could make the final week of the transfer window very interesting indeed

Depending on results elsewhere across the weekend, Everton – who may sell Beto – could move to within just one point of the UEFA Champions League spots with victory over Leeds on Monday.

Seamus Coleman is almost back… does that make a right-back less of a priority in the transfer market? 🧐

Should that happen, it would make the Toffees an even more attractive outfit for potential arrivals as we approach the transfer deadline on 2nd February.

Targets would presumably be excited by the chance to help Everton return to European football for the first time since the 2017/18 campaign, even more so with a state-of-the-art stadium now in place under ambitious owners.

Hopefully, Everton can record back-to-back wins by swatting Leeds aside.
