Beto’s future at Everton remains in the balance heading into the final 10 days of the January transfer window.
David Moyes has made Thierno Barry his first-choice number nine, which has left Beto on the bench for much of the season.
As such, Alan Myers understands Everton will consider offers for Beto, so long as they can find a replacement.
Finish this sentence: At the end of the window, Beto will be playing for… 🤔
What would YOU do if you were calling the shots?
Fenerbahce made an official bid for Beto earlier this week and now an update on that situation has just emerged on Saturday morning.

Beto to Fenerbahce now off the table
According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Beto’s proposed move to Fenerbahce is now off the table.
“Fenerbahce’s loan offer for Beto was rejected,” Sabuncuoglu wrote on X.
“Fenerbahce also turned down Everton’s proposal to ‘swap Beto for En-Nesyri head-to-head’ due to Nesyri. When Everton demanded 20 million euros for Beto, Fenerbahce walked away from the table!”
The Toffees are seeking permanent offers of £17m for the 27-year-old striker, who still has 18 months left on his contract.
So, with that said, it seems very unlikely that any team will come in for Beto at that price, which may force the club into sanctioning a loan deal late on in the window.
Beto looks likely to stay at Everton
With just over a week until the transfer deadline, time is ticking, and Everton will surely be more focused on bringing in a winger after the Jack Grealish injury news.
Moyes won’t want to lose Beto unless the Toffees have another number nine ready to sign on the dotted line, which seems unlikely at this stage.
The main priority is signing a Grealish replacement, as the Manchester City loanee could be out for the whole season.
How good of a signing would this be for Everton? 👀
Everton are showing an interest…
Everton have explored a move for Harry Wilson, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they decide to pursue the Fulham star with more intent in the remaining 10 days of the window.
A telling couple of weeks lie ahead for the Merseysiders.
