Everton are without a signing to their name this month – and it looks like another target could be about to go begging.
The Toffees have been on the lookout for potential new additions this month, with the right-back and striker positions at the top of their agenda.
PROVE ME WRONG: Everton needed more signings in January to make a real European push👇
Alan Myers has hinted at TFG's approach to transfers at Everton, and it won't please fans…
But Everton have operated with caution, and will only look to make deals if they spot an exceptional opportunity.
The nature of Everton’s window has frustrated fans, with many believing the club should be more productive given the club’s position in the Premier League table.
Lots of people are longing for a new right-back signing.
One player Everton have looked at is Emil Holm, but David Moyes may now have his work cut out to sign him.
Napoli are trying to sign Everton target Emil Holm

A new right-back has been on the cards for a while at Everton.

The feeling is that this is a position Everton really need to address.
What should be Everton’s top priority before the deadline on Monday? 😬
The clock is ticking… ⏰
Holm is a player Everton have had eyes on this month, and it was recently suggested that Everton made a proposal to sign him with Patterson going the other way.
Now, Italian champions Napoli have apparently come to the table – and proposed a player swap of their own.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are working on a deal to exchange Holm for their player Pasquale Mazzocchi.
It is unclear whether he’d be a player of interest to Genoa.

Everton could push for Brooke Norton-Cuffy
It has all been a bit quiet on the Holm front recently regarding Everton, so it may well be that the club won’t look to push for him.
But it has been claimed that Everton could now push hard for Brooke Norton-Cuffy as the window comes to a close.
Juventus don’t have the money to afford his £20 million asking price, and it seems a move to England is more likely for the full-back.

But West Ham United are also in the picture.
They have just signed Adama Traore, and seemingly want to add even more pace to their right side with Norton-Cuffy.
