Everton fans have very quickly witnessed their squad torn apart by injuries and suspensions which will have contributed to the poor form of late.
Opportunities to some of David Moyes’ outcasts have been offered on Merseyside, but new additions are certainly required.
Across Everton’s last six Premier League games, the Blues have only been able to claim victory on one occasion.
Moyes has admitted he does not have enough quality at Everton due to the number of starters that are currently sidelined.
Goals are very much needed on Merseyside with absences and poor form contributing to Everton’s poor return in front of goal.
Looking for improvements, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has shared one right-back who he’s been told Everton have now approached to sign.

Everton make contact to sign exciting right-back
With goals on the radar, Moyes is prioritising a new striker signing for Everton, but the Blues will surely take what they can get at this point.
Those strikers are in need of better service and the current full-backs are not offering that.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano has shed some light on Everton’s interest in the Bologna right-back Emil Holm.
“The first concerns Holm, Emil Holm, a wide player at Bologna, who has been linked in recent days with Inter after the Cancelo deal collapsed,” said Romano.
Five assists this season… this would be a huge upgrade for Everton! 🤩
Could this be the right-back Everton need to transform the team?
“As far as I’m aware, Inter are not working on the Holm operation. He is a player Inter followed when he was at Spezia, but at the moment Inter have not contacted Holm’s agents nor Bologna. If anything changes, we’ll let you know.
“There has been a phone call from Everton in England regarding Holm. He is a player Everton like, but as of today there has been no advanced negotiation with Inter, and from Everton’s side – again – just an initial call, no official offers yet.
“This is the current situation surrounding an interesting full-back like Holm of Bologna.”
Nathan Patterson could be moved on with Sevilla interested in a potential January swoop following their prior interest over the summer.
Given the injuries across the park and lack of depth at right-back, this is a signing who could push Everton on in the Premier League.
Everton need Premier League experience in January
In January, any new additions need to come in and hit the ground running to actually make an impact.
Signing players with proven Premier League experience would be a huge advantage for Moyes this month.
What do you make to that Everton fans? 😒
Everton fans may be wishing to see any player come through the doors at this point, but the club must make sure they are signing players that will suit the system.
Holm’s stats are impressive, with five assists just one fewer than Jack Grealish has offered this term.
Moyes is open to signing Championship players given their experience in England, but signing players from abroad will pose some risk.
With the Friedkins seemingly set to splash the cash with Roma this month, there really should not be any excuses on Merseyside.
