Everton fans will no doubt be wondering what Sean Dyche’s future is with the takeover in the pipeline, and Asmir Begovic has now given his pick on who he wants to be in charge.
Asmir Begovic joined Everton on a one-year deal back in the summer to provide back-up for Jordan Pickford.
He’s yet to make an appearance for the Toffees, but his experience off the field has no doubt already had a positive effect in what have been testing times.
The only opportunity that he’ll really get now could be in the FA Cup.
Interestingly, he was speaking on a Sky Sports show recently and gave his honest opinion on Sean Dyche being the Everton manager once the takeover goes through.

Asmir Begovic wants Sean Dyche to stay after the takeover
Maurizio Sarri is already rumoured to be the man lined up by The Friedkin Group for Everton if the takeover goes ahead as planned.
However, it remains to be seen as to whether they’ll make any change, as it’ll very much be dependent on results at the time of the takeover.
Dyche hasn’t had the best of starts to the season, which has seen his future questioned.
Interestingly, when speaking on Sky Sports show How Long Ref, Asmir Begovic stated that he wants Dyche to be the manager after the takeover.
He was asked ‘Is Dyche that guy’, to which he replied.
“Yeah I think so, I think he’s obviously a manager I’ve worked with for the second time now. Someone who really focuses on the process, tries to block out the outside noise and focus on his work.
“I think now, correct me if I’m wrong, the longest or second longest-serving manager under this current ownership, or I guess potentially under the previous ownership as well. So that tells you something.”
The latest in the Everton takeover
An update emerged with the Everton takeover situation and it wasn’t a good one at first.
The Friedkin Group is being tied up in 777 Partners and A-Cap’s mess, with their deal with the latter under scrutiny.
This led to fans worrying about the position of the takeover.
However, Alan Myers put any worries to bed as he claimed it hasn’t changed anything at all.
