Beto still thinks Europe is possible for Everton

James Tarkowski wants Everton to enjoy the European battle, but fans just want to see three points put on the board.

A massive chance has been missed by the Blues to draw level on points with Brentford, with a four-point gap now to Brighton & Hove Albion.

“You can say it was a missed opportunity but we are still in it, so we just need to focus on the next game,” Beto told Sky Sports.

“It is a little bit disappointing to get one point – but the game was really difficult.”

“We need to keep going and try to win the next two games.”

Everton now face their final home game of the season against Sunderland before travelling to the capital to face Tottenham Hotspur.

Taking to TalkingPoints, a lot of Everton supporters have shared their European concerns in recent weeks.

Well, the last four games have shown that Everton do not have the mettle it takes to be playing European football.

The Toffees have now wasted golden opportunities over the last four games to take victories.

Two draws and two defeats from the last four games are simply not what is needed for a side that wants to compete in Europe next season.

Everton faced a Palace side who put all of their strength and emotions into Thursday night’s Europa Conference League win.

It cannot be underestimated how much Everton needed three points on Sunday.
