Everton are now pushing on in their efforts to complete their next lot of summer signings.
David Moyes has seen Carlos Alcaraz’s future on Merseyside confirmed on a permanent basis from Flamengo.
However, the 62-year-old Everton boss is yet to see any new faces land at Finch Farm after a couple of weeks of transfer activity.
Everton are now expected to ramp up their transfer efforts towards the back end of the month, with a busy July expected.
This will be music to the ears of all Evertonians who are well aware of the task Angus Kinnear has on his hands to transform this squad.
Everton have been linked with Kyle Walker and other players this summer, but they are yet to pull the trigger on any new faces just yet.
With speculation growing, Alan Myers has shared what he has heard coming out of the club.

What Everton are saying about signing Kyle Walker
A lot of Everton fans have shared their concerns about signing Walker, given the decline in performances he has shown over recent years.
He is certainly a player who Pep Guardiola has recognised has lost his spark, with the Manchester City boss pushing him out of the club.
Taking to social media, Myers has shared some news which Everton fans may be delighted to hear.
“I’m told we’re interested in [Thierno] Barry and not so much Walker, but chances of signing either or both couldn’t say for sure, don’t think anything is imminent but let’s see,” he said.
Of course, fans won’t want to hear that no new signings are imminent.
However, Everton are showing an interest in Thierno Barry, and that has been backed up by the reliable Myers.
But the former Sky Sports reporter has poured some cold water on the notion that Everton are pushing for Walker, which is certainly an interesting turn.

Everton must prioritise a striker signing
Given the huge player turnover, Everton are looking to address a lot of positions this summer in the transfer market.
But the signing of a new striker has to be the priority for the Blues.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is expected to leave Everton in the coming days as his contract comes to an end on Merseyside.
So, not only do Everton need to address the numbers, but they also need to add quality to what has been a problem position for a number of years now.
