Everton take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

With three games remaining of the season, every game feels like a cup final for Everton, who probably have to win all three to get into Europe.

It really is win or bust territory heading into this one, as they currently reside five points adrift of seventh-placed Brighton and Hove Albion.

Let us know your prediction for Sunday’s trip to Crystal Palace… 😬

Everton have not lost to Palace since 2022, but three points are now essential! 💪

With that said, Chris Sutton has made his score prediction for the clash in South London, and he agrees with the Opta supercomputer.

Chris Sutton agrees with Opta’s supercomputer that Everton will beat Crystal Palace

Writing in his BBC Sport column, Sutton expects the Toffees to take advantage of Crystal Palace’s European hangover.

“Crystal Palace are another team who have had Europe on their minds, and it might be difficult for them to shake off that mindset,” the former Blackburn Rovers striker stated.

“Everton have developed a frustrating habit of conceding costly late goals – it has happened in their past three games against LiverpoolWest Ham and City – and they have lost ground in the race for sixth place.

“I am expecting a different ending for David Moyes and his side on Sunday, however. This time, they will hold on for a win.”

What changes would you make to our prediction of Moyes’ XI on Sunday? 😬

The supercomputer has also made Everton the favourites to get the three points, as they reckon there’s a 40.9% chance of an away win.

Palace have been given a 31.9% chance of victory, with a draw deemed 27.2% likely.

Interestingly, Everton are unbeaten against Palace in their last 10 games across all competitions, so they usually fare pretty well.

Moyes’ personal record against the Eagles is even better, as he averages two points per game across the various clubs he’s managed.

So, the Merseysiders should be heading into this one full of confidence and ultimately, as the favourites.
