Everton fans will be hoping for a big performance in their return to Premier League action following the international break.

Sean Dyche‘s side are certainly going to be up against it in their away trip to Champions League outfit Aston Villa.

The early signs have not been good for Everton who have lost all three of their opening games this season.

There has been some relief in the Carabao Cup but when it comes to the Premier League action, there has been little to cheer about.

Just as the Everton fans thought they may have had something to cheer last time out against Bournemouth, the smiles were quickly wiped off their faces.

But BBC Sport’s Chris Sutton has been left shocked at what he has heard from some Everton fans ahead of the game on Saturday.

Chris Sutton shocked by what some Everton fans are saying

With only three games under their belt, Everton boss Dyche is already under pressure with a lot to be desired about their start.

Clearly, there will not be many people who will have much confidence in Everton to take something from their trip to Villa Park.

Speaking in his BBC Sport prediction column, Sutton has been shocked to hear that some fans would already like to see Dyche replaced.

“Everton boss Sean Dyche is under the pump after their capitulation against Bournemouth last time out. It feels like some of their fans have turned against Dyche now, which I think is ridiculous, but he does need a result and unfortunately for him Villa Park is not a place I see Everton getting anything,” he said.

“The Toffees got hammered 4-0 there last season and, although they will put up a fight, they are not going to get a result on this occasion either.

“How many goals Villa get might depend on whether Ollie Watkins is fit. He’s in my Fantasy team, which is bad news for him anyway, but he is an injury doubt after pulling out of the England squad.”

Sean Dyche has four games to save his Everton job

It has been reported by TBR Football that Dyche now has just four Premier League games to save his job at Goodison Park.

Next up for Everton in the league before the international break is Aston Villa, Leicester City, Crystal Palace and then Newcastle United.

Along with a game in the Carabao Cup against Southampton, these are the games remaining for Dyche to show some kind of turn around at Everton.

With John Textor looking to finalise his takeover of Everton, Dyche’s future will be one of the big decisions he may have to make.
