Chris Sutton predicts how David Moyes and Everton will fare against Man United and Ruben Amorim

Chris Sutton predicts Everton vs Man United and highlights the ‘threat’

United fans are worried Everton will win and all signs at the moment point to that happening.

However, speaking to BBC Sport, Sutton has opted for a result which doesn’t reflect the two sides at the moment.

“Everton have moved above Manchester United in the table, and they go into this game as favourites – and rightly so,” Sutton said.

“The Toffees are without the injured Iliman Ndiaye, which is a big blow for them, but Beto’s improvement under Moyes has been incredible and they definitely carry a goal threat now.

“I actually think this game will be quite tight, though.

“This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, which is what I am going with. One of my pals is an Everton fan and every time I haven’t backed them to win under Moyes and they got something, he loved it.”

Despite Everton’s form Moyes will have work cut out for him vs United

Moyes would love any chance to get one over the club that banished him after an embarrassing first season.

But Sutton’s prediction might not be far from the truth.

No doubt Everton will have the momentum, especially being at Goodison Park, in what will be the 6th last home game in the Premier League at the Grand Old Lady.

However, there is a reason Everton haven’t overcome United in so long, as Moyes will know this won’t be an easy game.

Despite this, Carlos Alcaraz will be a threat for the Toffees after Alcaraz scored his first goal for Everton, and that might be where United struggles.
