Everton host Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday as they look to keep their fine run of form going.

David Moyes’ men will have enjoyed their rest over recent days after a manic last week which saw Everton pick up four points from their games against Liverpool and Crystal Palace.

Everything is looking much brighter for the Toffees following the appointment of the 61-year-old manager.

Everton fans may not be pleased by the officials in charge on Saturday against the Red Devils following a bad experience with Matt Donohue on VAR.

But it seems as if it is the Manchester United fans who are coming into the game on Saturday frustrated.

With Everton sitting above United in the table, there is a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Ruben Amorim.

Everton are going into the game on the weekend on the back of a five-game unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Jarrad Branthwaite has admitted players are loving life under Moyes after he replaced Sean Dyche.

The same cannot be said for those at Old Trafford, with speculation already surrounding Amroim’s future at the club.

Ahead of the game, a number of United fans have taken to social media to share their concerns ahead of the game.

Clearly, there is concern that Amorim’s time is already in doubt, with @FactosUtd saying: ‘David Moyes 6 games 13 PTS, Amorim 14 games 14 PTS . These lot would have you believe that even Everton have better players than us. Moyes with even worse players, it’s not looking good for this Ruben guy.’

The comparisons between Moyes and Amorim continued as @biju79372235 said: ‘As for amorim… What phase of the rebuild is Moyes in at Everton? He joined a side in a relegation battle and in a few weeks took them above us with 1 signing’.

Moyes has impressed those at his former club, with fan @camg_okez adding: ‘Even David Moyes has won more games than Amorim in 1 month.’ @casual_h3r0 also said: ‘Everton take Moyes to help a team in relation battle, he has 13 points in 6 games. Yet we have Amorim, still trying to play his style while in 15th & sinking.’

There are a lot of concerns coming from United fans ahead of the game, @mylog56 said: ‘Another defeat incoming. Moyes will bury Amorim’. Whilst @nick77615513 very simply added: ‘Moyes will own Amorim’.

David Moyes’ recent record vs Manchester United

Moyes was not the man in charge when these two sides met earlier in the season and United strolled home to victory.

The Toffees will feel they owe Man United some revenge following their 4-0 thumping at Old Trafford earlier in the campaign.

Moyes’ overall record against United leaves a lot to be desired following his time with West Ham, however, his last three games haven’t panned out too badly.

Everton find themselves on a real run of form and will surely be taking plenty of confidence into the game.

Carlos Alcaraz shone on his full Everton debut and he will need to step up again with the likes of Iliman Ndiaye still out through injury.
