Everton take on Tottenham Hotspur in the capital this afternoon.

It’s the final day of the Premier League season, so Everton will be keen to finish strongly with three points.

David Moyes’ side can have a big say on the relegation battle, as if they beat Spurs and West Ham win against Leeds, they will send the North Londoners down to the Championship.

Where will Everton be in the table by 6pm on Sunday afternoon? 🥲

The Blues could finish as low as 14th… 😫

Opta’s supercomputer has made Everton the heavy underdogs, which is a surprise given they have one of the best away records in the division.

Chris Sutton has now issued his score prediction.

Chris Sutton predicts Everton to beat Tottenham

Writing in his BBC Sport column, Sutton has backed Everton to beat Roberto De Zerbi’s side despite being in poor form themselves.

“Can former West Ham manager David Moyes help to save his old club by getting a win with Everton here?

“Going on form, the answer is probably no. The Toffees have not won any of their past six matches.

But this is going to be a nervy old afternoon for Tottenham and their fans. Spurs were flat against Chelsea and, based on that performance, Everton will get at least a point.

For the last time this season, let us know your prediction ahead of Sunday’s game… 🫩

Could Everton really send Spurs down? 😳

“Thinking about it, I am actually going to say they will take all three. Tottenham have been wretched at home all season – only Burnley have picked up fewer points on home turf – while Everton had a strong record away until their recent run.

Sutton has predicted: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Everton

If that result were to materialise, it could see Everton sneak into the top half of the Premier League table.

Every position in the table is worth an extra £3m, so that will certainly have a positive impact on Moyes’ transfer budget this summer.
