Everton are showing an interest in Jamie Leweling as a forward option in the summer transfer window.
David Moyes has lacked creativity in recent months following the injury to Jack Grealish suffered back in January.
Hopes of European qualification have come undone since the international break at Everton, with the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye’s output faltering.
For the last time this season, let us know your prediction ahead of Sunday’s game…
Could Everton really send Spurs down? 😳
Leweling is on Everton’s radar as further attacking reinforcement and manager Julian Nagelsmann has shared exactly how good of a signing he could be.

Julian Nagelsmann’s praise of Jamie Leweling is exactly what Everton are missing
Moyes wants the Friedkins to back Everton in the market through a considerable transfer kitty.
Stuttgart are believed to be looking for a fee in the region of £43m for Leweling, but what Nagelsmann has said about the 25-year-old would suggest he is worth every penny.
“I’m really pleased Jamie delivered a top performance. He covered an awful lot of ground and worked very hard until the last minute,” said the Germany national side manager.
Where will Everton be in the table by 6pm on Sunday afternoon? 🥲
The Blues could finish as low as 14th… 😫
“I liked the fact that he kept trying. He created a lot and inspired the team with his enthusiasm. He played really well.”
Leweling has certainly demonstrated his ability in the Bundesliga through his return of seven goals and nine assists.
Taking to TalkingPoints, a number of Everton supporters have been underwhelmed with Ndiaye’s form over recent weeks.
There has been a big reliance on the likes of Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye on Merseyside this season, with Tyler Dibling, Dwight McNeil and even Tyrique George struggling to make an impression under Moyes.
Adding another quality player alongside Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye would certainly help to ease the burden in attack.
| Player | Assists |
| James Garner | 7 |
| Jack Grealish | 6 |
| Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall | 4 |
| Iliman Ndiaye | 3 |
| Idrissa Gueye | 3 |
| James Tarkowski | 3 |
Unbelievably, Ndiaye has provided the same number of assists this season (3) as centre-back James Tarkowski.
For Grealish to remain as Everton’s second-highest assist-maker this season says a lot, considering he has not played since January.
Everton simply have to add more players capable of providing the opposition’s full-backs a difficult 90 minutes.
