Everton’s summer business could consist of some free agent additions, with Solly March now available to sign.
David Moyes witnessed a number of players departing Everton last summer on a free, but this summer could see the club bolster their own squad through that market.
Everton hold an interest in March as a potential right-wing option for their 63-year-old manager.
That was a disgraceful performance from Everton… something has to change! 😤
On Tuesday, his departure from Brighton & Hove Albion was confirmed following a 15-year stint on the South Coast.

Brighton confirm exit of Everton target Solly March
The forward is set to turn 32 in just over one month, which would certainly fit the bill of a Moyes target.
However, March will be departing the Seagulls on the back of a season where he has played just 38 minutes of Premier League football.
A significant ACL injury back in the 2022/23 campaign has impacted March’s career, which has seen the forward restricted to just 19 appearances across the last three Premier League terms.
Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔
Wolves, Burnley and West Ham have all lost their Premier League status…
Brighton confirmed the 31-year-old will leave at the end of his current deal, with Everton said to be one of the clubs interested.
“Leaving was never going to be easy. This is my club and always will be, but I’m ready for a new challenge and excited. I will keep proving people wrong and get back to my best. I’m fit and ready for what’s next,” March told the Brighton website.
Even as a free agent signing, this could prove a risky one for Everton given his injury history.
Everton are also eyeing John Stones, who has had his own problems over recent years, which have kept him from playing regular football.
There is a clear pattern to Everton’s reported transfer targets as experienced Premier League players appear to be the main priority.
That sums up what fans have seen from Moyes this season, with the exciting, younger options not being given the opportunity they arguably deserved.
A lot of Everton supporters want to see Moyes replaced by The Friedkin Group, with targets like March unlikely to be helping his cause.
