Everton have confirmed the exit of Katie Charles as club secretary on Tuesday morning.

The Friedkin Group have not shied away from making any big changes to staffing at Everton since the takeover was confirmed in late 2024.

There are many Everton supporters wishing to see David Moyes replaced by a young, forward-thinking manager over the summer.

Everton confirm Katie Charles’ exit through Companies House submission

Charles was appointed as Chief Legal Counsel at Everton back in 2023 when the club were going through the process of finding new ownership.

The Friedkins have been quick to bring in their own people at board level, with the reason behind Charles’ exit unclear.

That was a disgraceful performance from Everton… something has to change! 😤

Paperwork has now been submitted to Companies House sharing the announcement of Charles’ termination of appointment.

Charles’ time at Everton came to an end late last week, but the confirmation was only submitted on the back of the Bank Holiday weekend.

Big change in mentality needed at Everton this summer

Although Everton released a statement on their underwhelming end to the season, the manager, Moyes, hit back at reporters on Sunday afternoon.

When asked about the way Everton ended the season, Moyes hit back at one of the journalists’ questions in north London.

“You’ve asked that question very negatively, but I’ll try and turn it around a little bit if you don’t mind,” Moyes said.

The reality is Everton were in the driving seat following the international break and allowed their opportunity to slip away from them.

There has to be a lot of accountability taken from everyone at the club if next season is going to be any different.
