Everton have some important decisions to make on the future of some of their players.

David Moyes will have a contract headache currently with a host of players potentially set to depart the club at the end of the season.

But it is not just these out-of-contract players who Everton will need to concern themselves about.

Vitaliy Mykolenko has assured Everton he wants to stay this summer amid his own transfer speculation.

It is going to be a huge summer for the Toffees with it being the first opportunity for the Friedkins to splash some cash.

However, they are going to have to carefully manage their squad in the process as they do have some extremely promising youngsters.

Harrison Armstrong has impressed on loan at Derby County this year, but there is another player whose future may have just become a whole lot clearer.

Martin Sherif looks destined for Everton loan exit

Among Everton’s most promising youngsters is striker Martin Sherif who has lit up the U21s division this season.

The Everton coaches are extremely excited about Sherif and his potential to become a real star on Merseyside.

But it does not seem like his opportunity under Moyes is close.

On Tuesday evening, Sherif netted yet another goal for Everton’s U21s as they secured themselves a 4-1 victory.

The 18-year-old’s season has been disrupted due to some inclusions in the Everton senior squad during their recent injury issues.

But he has certainly impressed with the foreign media hailing Sherif as ‘dangerous’ and a real star of the future.

Although he is being praised as a huge talent, his opportunities under Moyes do not appear to be there – even with Everton safe.

With this in mind, it looks as if a loan move to get him some regular first-team football could be the best option for Sherif.

Everton looking to sign more strikers this summer

As if Sherif’s opportunities were not already going to be hard to come by, Everton are prioritising a new striker in the summer transfer window.

It has been a position which has caused the Toffees some real issues this season.

Now, it is being suggested Everton lead the race to re-sign Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur.

On top of that, the Blues need to decide one who could potentially stay from their current crop of forwards.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is seeking new Everton contract talks as his future remains up for debate.

All of this does not make for good reading over Sherif’s future on Merseyside.
