Everton’s preparation for next season is already well underway.
With Kevin Thelwell’s looming departure, the Friedkin Group are in the process of restructuring the recruitment department.
Soon-to-be CEO Angus Kinnear is trying to bring two Leeds United chiefs with him, although, the Whites’ promotion to the Premier League could scupper those plans.
Anyhow, Everton’s new owners will back Moyes in the summer transfer window as they look to return the club back to its past glories.
Behind the scenes, the Toffees are drawing up a list of targets and Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey has been linked to Goodison Park this week.
Now, a fresh transfer report has emerged as Everton eye a talented right-back on the continent.

Everton interested in signing Juventus’ Nicola Savona
Jake O’Brien is enjoying his new role at right-back, although, centre-back probably remains his best position.
And, Moyes sees O’Brien moving back into the heart of defence at some stage.
“The club will look at both full-back positions this summer, but I’m not sure it impacts (Jake) O’Brien that much,” Athletic journalist Patrick Boyland said.
“Moyes has said O’Brien’s medium and long-term future is in the centre of defence, the position he has played in throughout his career.”
With that said, a right-back is seemingly high on Moyes’ list of priorities and according to Italian outlet TuttoJuve, the Toffees could make a concrete move to sign Juventus full-back Nicola Savona.
Savona has been a key fixture for Juve this term and made seven appearances in their Champions League campaign.
It’s understood the 22-year-old will be considered for sale if offers of around £21m arrive.
Everton face competition from West Ham United and Bournemouth
Moyes’ former club West Ham United are also showing a serious interest in Savona ahead of the window opening in June.
Bournemouth and Bayer Leverkusen are circling, too, so quite clearly it won’t be an easy deal to do for the Toffees.
However, given the Friedkin’s lofty ambitions and the move to Bramley-Moore Dock on the horizon, Everton may be the more attractive project than the aforementioned three clubs.
So, Moyes could get one over the Hammers after missing out on Evan Ferguson in the January transfer window.
Savona would certainly be a real coup given he’s already plied his trade in the Champions League at such a young age.
