Everton are looking to make some significant changes at the club over the summer.

The upcoming transfer window is going to be the first real opportunity the Friedkins to really put their stamp on the club.

And plans are already being put in place at Everton for what could be a really interesting summer at the football club.

Kevin Thelwell is set to leave Everton at the end of the season as his contract comes to an end.

With changes being made to the club’s recruitment structure, Everton will appoint Angus Kinnear of Leeds United, also at the end of the season.

David Moyes must be intrigued by the changes being made on Merseyside ahead of their move to Bramley-Moore Dock.

But the changes are not set to stop just there.

Everton eyeing Leeds United advisor Nick Hammond

Since the new owners arrived, Everton have made numerous recruitment changes behind the scenes on Merseyside.

What Farhad Moshiri had put together at Goodison Park will not be making the short trip when the club moves in the summer.

According to BBC Sport, Everton are now looking to appoint Leeds’ football advisor Nick Hammond to come in and work under Kinnear.

However, ‘well-placed sources’ have insisted that a deal has not yet been agreed.

The same sources have even suggested that Hammond’s potential appointment could oversee player contracts on Merseyside.

This would be fitting considering the number of players who are set to leave the club on a free at the end of the season.

The Friedkins are ready to back Moyes in the market, but it is clear they are looking to put the right infrastructure around the 61-year-old to make this summer a success.

Everton also keen to hire Gary Penrice

Following the new of their promotion back to the Premier League, Everton could financially benefit from Leeds’ return.

However, the Blues are not looking to give them an easy ride back in the top flight.

Everton are also said to be keen on appointing Gary Penrice who is part of the Leeds recruitment staff.

The Toffees are seriously keen on what Leeds have been doing over in Yorkshire and could be set to decimate their backroom.

Kinnear may also eye some Leeds players over the summer, but he is certainly doing his bit to cherry-pick some of the Leeds chiefs he has been impressed by.
