Fabrizio Romano has now claimed Iraola has several offers on the table and is set to make his decision soon.

Crystal Palace remain an option, with Bayer Leverkusen also chasing the Spaniard.

With a decision nearing, it appears that a potential move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium is not an option, with Everton set to stick with Moyes.

Angus Kinnear has given Moyes his backing during his end-of-season message to the supporters, but form failed to pick up after his statement.

The 63-year-old now has one final year remaining on his Everton contract.

It has been suggested that Everton are expected to open contract talks with Moyes over the summer to extend his spell on Merseyside.

However, supporters have quickly grown frustrated with the veteran manager for the manner in which Everton’s European hopes came crashing down this season.

It is almost a week on from the final game of the season away to Tottenham Hotspur, and there has been no movement from the board.

Iraola is there for Everton to pursue as their long-term manager, but it seems as if another season of Moyes is being planned.
