Everton are making the trip to the City Ground on Saturday to face Nottingham Forest.

David Moyes will be prepared for what is going to be the latest instalment in a seriously difficult run of April fixtures.

So far, Everton have been able to take a point from Arsenal after losing out in the Merseyside Derby at Anfield.

Pressure has eased on Merseyside as Moyes has relaxed his relegation concerns and is looking ahead to the new season.

With just eight games remaining in Everton’s season, the 61-year-old manager has some big decisions to make over the future of some of his players.

And ahead of the game on Saturday, Moyes has admitted he could be handing out some minutes to players who usually find themselves watching.

David Moyes set to hand out Everton opportunities

Everton have Vitaliy Mykolenko available for the trip to Nottingham Forest on the weekend in a big injury boost.

He is not the only player to have recently returned from injury, though.

Speaking to the press on Friday, Moyes has admitted he is looking to hand certain players more opportunities before the end of the season.

“There’s two or three others I want to try and get some more playing time,” said Moyes ahead of Forest.

“While we’re in this position, it gives me a chance to change the team. We might do so as well tomorrow [Saturday] and we’ll see if we want to try and have a look at one or two others.”

Nathan Patterson was handed a rare start against Arsenal, and he certainly took his opportunity with a fine showing.

It seems, with Everton all but safe, more opportunities like this could be set to follow against Forest for some other players.

Armando Broja could be set for last Everton chance

One other player to recently return from injury is Armando Broja, but his minutes have been scarce.

Broja really impressed for Albania against England in the recent international break.

However, his time to impress on Merseyside is now really running out, with the ‘dangerous’ Broja’s loan deal set to expire at the end of the campaign.

Under Moyes, Broja has only just started to come back into contention meaning he has not really been handed too many minutes just yet.

Beto’s form has slipped over recent weeks with no goal for the Portuguese striker in any of his last five games.

With this in mind, Moyes may now be open to handing Broja an opportunity from the start against Forest to freshen up that front line.

it has been a seriously unfortunate campaign for the striker through injuries which has certainly hindered his opportunity to impress for a permanent deal.
