More Everton players were in action on Friday night for their national sides with Armando Broja coming on for Albania against England.
The on-loan Everton striker found himself coming up against Jordan Pickford between the sticks for the Three Lions.
It was suggested Broja would not play against England due to fitness concerns after what has been a dismal season for the 23-year-old.
Broja has barely played for the Toffees so far, with two serious injuries hindering his season.
However, the Albania international did come off the bench in the second half in an attempt to drag his side back into the game.
David Moyes will have been watching the game at Wembley Stadium very closely, and so were the Everton fans at home.

Everton fans left so impressed by Armando Broja in England vs Albania
On Thursday night, Denmark fans were wowed by Jesper Lindstrom’s display in their victory over Portugal in the Nations League.
Broja was not handed the same minutes as the Danish winger, but fans did like what they saw from the striker.
A number of Everton fans took to social media and they all were left saying the same thing.

| @tacticallymatt | Clear to see Armando Broja is a real talent. Injury issues such a shame, and so is Chelsea’s asking price/option to buy.Would be a smart pickup for many clubs if really cheap and injury problems get better. |
| @bittertoffee | Broja looked bright here. Twice he’s toasted Burn. |
| @adamjeffrey98 | It’s really sad Broja’s injury record is so bad. There’s a very decent player there. |
| @verseferg9 | Broja looking sharp here. Please don’t get injured mate. |
| @luke1878 | Such a shame Broja is made of glass, clearly talented. |
| @impseed | Broja will start in derby. |
Broja returned to Everton training last week ahead of their draw against West Ham United at Goodison Park.
The striker is only on loan until the end of the campaign and has been left with an almighty task if he is to secure himself a permanent move.

Everton did attempt to send Broja back to Chelsea in January due to his fresh injury picked up in the FA Cup against Peterborough United.
The on-loan striker did only come on in the latter stages of the game, but he certainly looked bright in his cameo display.
- 27 minutes played
- 3 attempted dribbles
- 1 interception
- 19 touches
There were a lot of staff members at Everton excited about Broja at the start of the season, and he may feel robbed of an opportunity.
But his showing against Thomas Tuchel’s side does bode well for the final weeks of the 2024/25 campaign.
