Everton and Richarlison are being strongly linked with a potential reunion this summer.

David Moyes has a lot of decisions to make over the coming weeks with a huge summer transfer window ahead of the club.

The Friedkins are ready to spend at Everton when the market does open.

Following Farhad Moshiri’s time on Merseyside, Everton are in desperate need of some funds being thrown into the playing squad.

After meetings behind the scenes, Moyes has shared his desire to sign a new striker for the 2025/26 campaign as the Toffees move to Bramley-Moore Dock.

The player who is being reported as the number one target to fill that need is their former player, Richarlison.

It has been claimed Everton do hold an interest in Richarlison who could be set to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Sky Sports have even suggested that a loan move to Merseyside could be a possibility.

However, speaking in his press conference on Friday at Finch Farm, Moyes has shut down any speculation over the Brazilian returning to Everton.

“There is zero truth in that in my side,” he very simply said.

Tottenham are looking for £40m to sell Richarlison which would prove a big number for any side given his injury issues.

Richarlison has returned to action of late and he was in action from the start on Thursday night against Bodo/Glimt.

After securing their spot in the Europa League final, Richarlison celebrated with the Tottenham fans and looked like a player who was fully committed to the Lilywhites.

Everton re-signing Richarlison is a huge risk

A loan move for Richarlison would make a lot more sense for the Toffees.

But even a temporary move to Bramley-Moore Dock for the 27-year-old could prove a big risk for Everton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has just returned from his latest injury last weekend in a season which has seen a lot of problems up top.

Adding Richarlison – who would be on substantial wages – would only be adding to their injury worries.

Moyes may have played it down, but the speculation surrounding a homecoming for Richarlison is unlikely to fade away.
