Everton have seen their fair share of managers come and go over recent years with their struggles on the pitch evident.
Sean Dyche has now managed to keep his role at Goodison Park safe over the last 18 months despite Everton pondering around the relegation zone.
Since David Moyes left Everton back in 2013, there has been a grand total of 13 managers -including caretakers – in the 11 following years.
There have been some big names to have come and gone in that time with the likes of Roberto Martinez, Rafael Benitez and, of course, Carlo Ancelotti.
However, it could have potentially been much fewer if Moyes was handed his proposed return to Merseyside before he returned to West Ham.

Why didn’t Everton rehire David Moyes in 2019
Moyes’ time on Merseyside was a roaring success with the Blues enjoying much better times than what they are enduring right now.
The former Manchester United manager guided Everton to no lower finish than eighth in his final seven seasons at the club.
There were certainly some difficult times at the beginning of his tenure, but Moyes quickly got Everton up to speed and saw them finish as high as fourth.
However, the Scotsman was denied a return to Everton on two occasions with Moshiri denying him the opportunity to sit in the Goodison dugout again.
Speaking on the Up Front podcast, Moyes provided some insight as to why he did not get the vacant role at Goodison back in 2019.
“The truth is, I was in Germany agreeing to join Everton when David Sullivan contacted me the second time to become the West Ham manager,” he told Simon Jordan.
“And the only reason I didn’t become the Everton manager, then, was because Carlo Ancelotti got sacked and then the next day – the day before I had been with Everton and agreeing a deal – they took Ancelotti at the last minute.”
Sean Dyche is getting Everton back on track
Despite some of the big names which Everton have had in recent years, it is Dyche who looks like he could be getting Everton back on track.
After a turbulent season, on the whole, the Toffees ended the 2023/24 campaign really strongly.
If that is anything to go by, then there should be a lot of optimism around the club as to what they could achieve in the coming term.
And it is apparent that has been recognised by the board with Dyche already provided with four solid additions in this summer’s transfer window.
Fans only have to look at Jake O’Brien’s comments with the defender saying Dyche’s talk played a big role in him joining.
