Thierno Barry has turned a corner at Everton after a really tough start to his career on Merseyside.
Thierno Barry arrived with great fanfare last summer, but he didn’t manage to score his first goal until December.
Since then, Barry has really improved his performances and has now scored three in his last four Premier League games.

Can the Toffees build on that brilliant win vs Aston Villa? 🤔
David Moyes has been pleased with Barry’s improvements, but he still wants more from the young Frenchman.
With that said, Moyes admitted he’s noticed something unusual about the 23-year-old in training recently.

David Moyes has noticed a positive change in Thierno Barry behind the scenes
Speaking in his pre-match Leeds United press conference, Moyes explained that he’s noticed Barry shouting a lot more in Everton training after his match-winner against Aston Villa last weekend.
“He was shouting on the training pitch today, which is something that you might say would be normal, but it’s not been normal for Thierno,” the Scotsman said.
“He’s really feeling his way in and edging his way in. I think he took his goal brilliantly well. We need him to get more, that’s a fact. But you’ve got to start somewhere, haven’t you?”
Moyes continued: “There’s always a thing about being a striker scoring in big games. It was a big game to score against Aston Villa.
“It was a big game for him. He didn’t get many chances in the game, if any, but the one he did get he took, so that’s more like the way you want them to be, you get one chance then you take it, that’s good.”
Thierno Barry’s form may have cancelled the search for a new striker
It was initially reported that Moyes was ‘fixated’ on signing a new striker this January transfer window.
However, Barry’s rise in form may have cancelled those plans, with the focus instead turning to a wide player.
Jack Grealish is out of action for at least three months, so signing his replacement will surely be the priority in the final nine days of the window.
How good of a signing would this be for Everton? 👀
Everton are showing an interest…
That said, Fulham’s Harry Wilson is being heavily linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium and his manager Marco Silva recently admitted that he’s worried about losing him.
Wilson is out of contract in the summer, so there is an opportunity to land his signature at a discounted price.
