Everton have some major decisions to make over the coming weeks about the future of some of their players.
David Moyes has inherited a squad of players where there are numerous set to leave at the end of the season as free agents.
The Friedkins will provide the finances to fund Everton’s summer spending, but there are going to have to be some players kept.
Everton are finally ready for a summer where they are not going to have to worry too much about PSR and restrict their spending as a result.
With just a matter of weeks remaining in the season, movement is finally expected on the contract front.

Everton set for internal contract talks
Moyes wouldn’t be bullied into contract decisions after seeing Abdoulaye Doucoure voice his thoughts on the matter.
But just a couple of weeks later, the 62-year-old is now ready to sit down and discuss what the Toffees are going to do with these players.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton are now ready to sit down and hold initial talks with the representatives of the players they’d like to keep.
These talks are set to take place over the coming days at Finch Farm.
Moyes is said to be wary of allowing too many of these out-of-contract players to slip away as he is aware the squad needs some continuity.
Doucoure has admitted he wants to stay at Everton following the Nottingham Forest victory where he scored a last-gasp winner.
But there are a number of other players who have not made their decisions known with just a matter of weeks remaining in their deals.
Everton must keep some of their out-of-contract players
If Everton are to allow most of these players to walk at the end of the season, then they will be in for a long summer of transfers.
The Toffees already need to improve the quality of their starting XI and require new faces to bolster the squad depth.
Add in a number of direct replacements being required then that will add up to a massive summer for the Friedkins.
Everton want to keep Idrissa Gana Gueye and potentially losing him would be a huge blow.
The midfielder has played a lot of football this season and has become a really important part of Everton’s side.
Losing a player like him, for example, would feel like a real own goal going into the summer.
