Everton had a really quiet winter transfer window.
The Toffees’ only addition was Carlos Alcaraz, who joined on an initial loan deal from Brazilian giants Flamengo.
The deal will become permanent if certain clauses are activated and it’s understood the fee will be around £15m.
Meanwhile, on the outgoing front, Everton’s only departure was Harrison Armstrong, who joined Championship outfit Derby County on a six-month loan.
Armstrong made his debut away at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon and Derby fans have all said the same thing about the Everton loanee.

Derby County fans react to Harrison Armstrong debut
Harrison Armstrong came on shortly after the hour mark during Derby’s 1-1 draw at Carrow Road and Rams supporters have all been saying the same thing about his cameo, noting that he looked a little nervy but there’s clearly talent there.
“Few stray passes but some good ones also, looks like when he gets a bit more comfortable could be a good loan signing,” @Cookie_5298 said.
@kadcfcoutlookc1 added: “Looks a decent little player, shouting for the ball a lot and seems to want to play the positive pass. A few wayward passes but he’ll get better with more minutes.”
“Erm not terrible but not great seemed a bit sheepish but hopefully he’ll come out of his shell,” @maxfielding07 posted.
@DCFCDYLH commented: “Beside one the pass where he went left instead of right! I really like him! Wants to go forward we ball as well!”
“Not great but was his first game so gotta let him settle,” @jackwx01 said.
@1Cee__ posted: “Looked very nervy.”
Armstrong’s loan hits first hurdle
Everton knew Armstrong was entering a difficult environment at Derby, with the club fighting for their life at the bottom of the Championship.
And, his loan has already taken a bump after manager Paul Warne was given his marching orders ahead of Saturday’s game.
It’s not yet known who Derby are planning to appoint, but for Armstrong, he will have to win over the new manager.
It’ll be a real test of character for the 18-year-old over the next few weeks in particular.
