Everton are exploring several deals this January transfer window as David Moyes looks to bolster his ranks.
The Toffees are looking at signing Ethan Nwaneri from Arsenal, which is clearly coming from the Friedkin Group as they look to recruit young talent.
David Moyes is eyeing Youssef En-Nesyri after netting eight goals in the Turkish Super Lig with Fenerbahce so far this season.
How big of a risk is this for Everton? 😫
Scoring goals in Turkey is completely different to the Premier League…
En-Nesyri was on Moyes’ radar when he was the West Ham United manager, so clearly he’s a big admirer of the striker.
Now, Everton have just been given fresh hope of signing a different number nine on the continent as his director speaks out.

PSV director suggests that Everton target Ricardo Pepi could leave
Everton are exploring a deal to sign Ricardo Pepi from PSV this winter window after his productive season in the Dutch league.
Speaking to the Call It What You Want podcast, PSV director Earnie Stewart appeared to suggest that he knows Pepi will leave at some stage.
“Well, obviously, you know, Holland is known for a stepping stone for bigger and better. So when we bought him from Augsburg, we had a, you know, a plan for him in the sense that we knew that Luke De Jong would be here. We also knew that Luke De Jong at one point, one would retire or take another step.”
Everton are interested in PSV striker Ricardo Pepi, would he replace Thierno Barry straight away? 👀
Stewart also praised the 23-year-old’s striking ability: “And where his potential lies, yeah, it’s, you know, he has something uncanny about him when he strikes a ball. It’s amazing to see it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen in a player. Once again, once he touches the ball around the 18-yard box, it’s always on frame and it’s on frame really hard.
“So that’s something that he just has and that’s a huge, huge talent. And that’s why I think, you know, even though PSV were playing at a great level, playing Champions League at the same time. But I also feel that there’s even more for Ricardo in store.”
Ricardo Pepi’s price tag
It has been reported that PSV would consider offers of around £35m for Pepi, so that may be a stumbling block for Everton.
Moyes wants to sign two full-backs this month, and they’re believed to be the priority areas for the Scotsman.
So, Everton will have to be smart with their budget and not spend the majority of it on just one position, which could rule out the Pepi deal.
Perhaps PSV could soften their stance and be open to negotiating their price down. Although, they’ve already rejected a £26m bid from Fulham.
A telling couple of weeks lie ahead on Merseyside.
