Everton have been scouting in the Championship in recent months.
David Moyes has been eyeing Millwall’s Femi Azeez after his standout season in the second tier, and Stoke City’s Sorba Thomas has also been linked.
Middlesbrough talisman Hayden Hackney is on Everton’s radar, too, as Moyes looks to bolster his midfield ranks.

Does he still have it in him? 😬
Another highly-rated Championship star has been linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, however, Don Goodman has indirectly urged him not to sign for the Merseysiders.

Don Goodman indirectly advises Tom Atcheson not to sign for Everton
Everton made checks on Tom Atcheson last month, with the 19-year-old enjoying his breakout season for Blackburn Rovers.
Atcheson has impressed in his 14 Championship appearances this term and was rewarded with a first senior cap for Northern Ireland in March.
However, despite Moyes showing an interest in landing his signature, Goodman has urged the centre-back to stay at Rovers.
“Tom Atcheson has only started nine Championship games in his whole career, so we cannot honestly be saying he is one of the best defensive prospects in the EFL when we have seen so many others,” the Sky Sports pundit said.
Braiden Graham has just done this days out from Man City… 🤩
Are you watching, David Moyes? 😬
“Whatever happens with transfer speculation, and I am sure bigger clubs will be monitoring him, what he needs right now is regular football.
“If he went to any of the big Premier League clubs, he would not get that. Whereas if he stayed at Blackburn, he would have a brilliant chance of consistent first-team football.”
Even if Atcheson were to join Everton, he probably wouldn’t get much of a chance under Moyes, as the Scotsman places much more trust in experience.
Tyler Dibling and Adam Aznou joined with big reputations, and yet they’ve hardly been given a kick this season.
