Everton will be back in action this weekend as they take on Dundee in their first of six pre-season friendly matches.
Just over seven weeks after the 2025/26 season ended, Everton will take to the pitch at Dens Park.
Everton’s fixtures for 2026/27 have been released! What immediately caught your eye about them? 🤩
It’ll be a chance for David Moyes to get an early look at his players and to see what kind of shape they’re in.
Of course, they’ve already done a bit of training and testing.
But the game will be a chance to increase match fitness, with the new Premier League season just over a month away.
How to watch Dundee vs Everton
Everton have said via their website they are going to be streaming the game live over on evertontv.
Kick-off will be at 2pm this Saturday.
Supporters can buy a one-time match pass for £5.99, or buy a bundle for all six of Everton’s games for £25.
Season Ticket Members and Forever Blue+ Members can get the six-game bundle for £20.
Everton say those wanting to become Forever Blue+ Members must register by 11.59pm on Thursday.
How Everton could line up to face Dundee

Of course at the moment, Everton still have a number of players away from the group.
Nathan Patterson and Iliman Ndiaye were both in action at the World Cup and have not yet returned. Idrissa Gana Gueye, of course, is technically now a free agent, although talks are ongoing for him to potentially stay.
Jordan Pickford remains in North America to contest the third-place play-off match with France and won’t be back for another few weeks.
So perhaps Moyes will field Mark Travers in goal, with Jake O’Brien, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite – who is back on the grass after injury – and Vitalii Mykolenko in front of him.
In midfield, James Garner and Hayden Hackney may get a first outing together as a midfield pair, with Harrison Armstrong playing just ahead. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, whose quality is obviously very clear, could replace Armstrong later on.
Something that will be potentially quite interesting is which shirt number Hackney will wear.
Hackney has been training without a number so far, which suggests he may well be holding out for one that’s currently already taken.
Braiden Graham is with the squad and may get a chance to lead the line before coming off for Beto or Thierno Barry.
Let us know your immediate thoughts! 🤩
Then out wide, perhaps Moyes will put his faith in his new permanent signing Tyrique George on the left, with Tyler Dibling – rarely used last season – on the right.
Hopefully, Dibling – who is wanted by RB Leipzig – in particular will really shine and catch the manager’s eye early doors.
Predicted Everton XI: Travers/O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko/Garner, Hackney, Armstrong/Dibling, Graham, George.
