Everton are yet to sign any new players this month with the January transfer window almost halfway done.
The Friedkin Group have made a productive start to life on Merseyside as they prepare for their life in the new stadium next season.
However, the immediate target is for Everton to enter the new ground as a Premier League side.
To do so, the Toffees may well need to spend in the January transfer market as they currently sit narrowly above the bottom three.
David Moyes has already identified two positions he’d like to sign this month.
And there has now been a glimmer of hope provided to the Blues as an Ajax director has now spoken on potentially selling Devyne Rensch.

Ajax director open to selling Devyne Rensch to Everton
With a new full-back on Moyes’ radar, Everton are showing an interest in Devyne Rensch from Ajax.
Everton do have options at right-back with Ashley Young, Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson all at Moyes’ disposal.
Ajax director Alex Kroes has admitted there could be a deal to be made for any side who are interested in Rensch.
“If you have already played against RKC a few times, such as last weekend, then at some point you also think: ‘I want to play against Juventus, Barcelona or Real Madrid’,” he told Ziggo Sport.
“We have tried to extend his contract and so far have not been successful. In the short term we want to keep him to qualify for the Champions League. But at the same time, you also have the chance that you can get a nice amount for him.”
A spot at right-back could become available in the summer with Coleman unsure of his Everton future as his contract is set to expire.
The same can be said about the 39-year-old Young who has been Everton’s regular at right-back under Dyche.

Nathan Patterson may expect fresh start under David Moyes
Ahead of the January market, it was expected Patterson would demand an Everton exit due to a lack of game time.
The right-back has been behind Young and Coleman in the pecking order at Goodison this season.
However, he did play in the FA Cup game on Thursday where he impressed in the starting XI.
There may well be some real pressure put on Patterson’s immediate future if Everton were to land Rensch.
Erik ten Hag expects Rensch to have an ‘amazing career‘ having managed the youngster before he was appointed Manchester United manager.
The 21-year-old has been a regular in the Ajax start this season and would surely be expecting similar game time if he was to make the move to Merseyside.
