Everton share subtle Leicester City dig after points deduction controversy

A number of Everton supporters have shared their frustrations on TalkingPoints over Moyes and some of his flaws.

However, it must be remembered that Everton have still come a long way in a short space of time, with the Foxes showing how quickly things can go wrong.

Taking to social media, Everton shared a video of Jordan Pickford’s save against Leicester from the decisive 2022/23 campaign.

‘A huge moment in our recent history,’ captioned the post on X, with Everton going on to claim a vital point from the game at the King Power.

It is a timely post given the mess that Leicester find themselves in having suffered their second relegation in as many years.

Everton supporters will not have forgotten how Leicester appealed their six-point deduction, which had been reduced from an initial 10.

It was a decision from the Foxes that could have had huge implications on Everton and their spot in the Premier League.

Everton are now pushing for European qualification, with the club dropping a cheeky reminder of what happened between the two sides just a few years ago.
