Everton are drawing up a list of targets ahead of the summer transfer window.

David Moyes’ side have achieved their goal of Premier League safety, but the season is beginning to become somewhat of a chore.

Everton have won one of their last 10 games as they were pegged back by Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.

So, quite clearly, the squad needs major surgery in the summer and the recruitment team have been hard at work identifying targets.

It’s understood Burnley’s Maxime Esteve is admired by Everton chiefs, whilst teammate Josh Brownhill is also on the club’s radar.

Now, a fresh transfer rumour has emerged, this time linking the Toffees to an Ipswich player.

Everton seriously interested in signing Omari Hutchinson

Everton are keen to sign Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, with Moyes even going public with his desire this week.

“He (Delap) would be one who we would certainly have an interest in,” the Everton boss admitted. “I think what he probably has to look at will probably be bigger than what we are. So, we would certainly be interested if he was interested in us. That’s for sure.”

Now, Everton are showing a ‘strong interest’ in Delap’s teammate Omari Hutchinson, according to Caught Offside.

The report claims the Toffees see Hutchinson becoming a fan favourite on Merseyside, although, competition for his signature is rife.

Aston Villa, West Ham United, Leeds United and Burnley are also keeping tabs on the left-footed wide player.

Omari Hutchinson stats 24/24

It’s been a tough season for Ipswich, who have already been relegated back to the Championship, but Hutchinson has been a bright spark.

The 2003-born winger has registered five goal involvements in the Premier League, which will only improve in a better side.

Last term, Hutchinson excelled in the second tier, netting 10 goals whilst laying on six assists, so clearly there’s bags of potential there.

Perhaps Moyes could be the manager to bring it out of him in the top flight.
