Everton could not beat Wolves last night, in what was a disappointing result for the Toffees.
After losing 4-2 to Brentford at the weekend, it was important for David Moyes’s side to respond at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
And Everton looked on course to do that after Michael Keane gave Everton the lead.
Sum that up for us… 😡
Cannot believe how that second half panned out!
But Everton did not capitalise on their dominance in the first-half, with Wolves equalising through Mateus Mane.
Mane has been something of a shining light for Wolves in recent weeks, and has now scored in back-to-back games.
And hopefully, Moyes will take note of his rise at Molineux and afford Harrison Armstrong the same opportunities to flourish in the blue of Everton.

David Moyes must show faith in Harrison Armstrong like Rob Edwards has with Mateus Mane

Armstrong started for Everton in the Premier League for the first time against Wolves.
It was something fans had been clamouring for, after he came on and did well against Brentford at the weekend.
And Armstrong ended up vindicating Moyes’ decision against Wolves, as he showed confidence throughout the contest.
Many remarked how comfortable Armstrong looked, and after the game, Moyes did praise the youngster without going too over the top.
Moyes has spoken about sending Armstrong back to Preston North End on loan.
But one wonders if the manager will really look to try and let him flourish in this environment – just as Rob Edwards has done with Mane at Wolves.
How did you think Harrison Armstrong played vs Wolves? 🧐
Mane and Harrison are the same age, but Harrison actually has far more experience of senior football at this point.
If Mane can go in at Wolves and thrive having solely been in the academy, then perhaps there’s an argument that Moyes should be putting his faith in Armstrong.
Of course, they are different players. But Wolves are benefitting for taking a gamble, and perhaps Everton can find similar joy.
Everton must not be hasty with Armstrong
Of course, it does remain to seen if Armstrong will be sent back to Preston.
But he is now effectively on trial, and no decisions should be made until all games in January have been played.

And hopefully by that point, Armstrong will have had plenty of opportunities to impress.
Up next for Everton is the FA Cup clash with Sunderland, which is surely a good opportunity for the youngster to feature once more.
