Everton eyeing Newcastle’s William Osula as striker option
Everton want to sign another striker, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s departure last summer leaving Moyes with just two senior options once Thierno Barry was signed.
A report from the Daily Mail has named Everton as one of the many interested sides in the Newcastle striker, Osula.

There's going to be some different opinions on this! 🫣
As well as the Blues, the following clubs were credited with interest:
- Aston Villa
- Crystal Palace
- Bayern Munich
- Bayer Leverkusen
It is believed that Newcastle would be looking to secure a fee in excess of £40m for Osula if they were to sell him this summer.
The 22-year-old’s role on Tyneside has increased dramatically in recent weeks, with the Dane starting Newcastle’s last four games.
Osula has scored three times in those four starts, and netted a goal during his five-minute cameo against Manchester United back in March.
Everton could land Osula discount through Anthony Gordon clause
Everton hold a 15 per cent sell-on clause in Anthony Gordon’s contract, which has the Blues in line to earn a multi-million windfall on any profit made by the Toon.
This could essentially land Everton a discount on Osula if they were to make a move for the striker this summer.
With the Magpies looking for around £40m to potentially part ways with the 22-year-old, a windfall of circa £5m from Gordon’s possible sale would be a real boost for Everton.
There are a number of big names being linked with possible exits on Tyneside this summer, which will have Newcastle naturally keen to secure as high a fee as possible on any sales.
