Everton will be busy this summer, and it’s now been claimed the club may have eyes on a Paris Saint-Germain player.

Work is already underway for next season, with Everton soon to be mathematically confirmed as a Premier League club again for 2025/26.

David Moyes has done a fantastic job since replacing Sean Dyche at Goodison Park, and will lead the team into an exciting new era.

Fans can’t wait for the summer.

But there is a lot to do for The Friedkin Group, with lots of players at the end of their contracts, or returning to their parent clubs on loan.

Everton will likely strengthen in lots of positions.

Moyes will need at least one new player for central defence, and the Toffees are apparently now looking at Milan Skriniar.

According to Caught Offside, Everton could make a move for Milan Skriniar this season.

Skriniar is a Paris Saint-Germain player, but has been on loan at Turkish giants Fenerbahce since the last transfer window.

It’s claimed by Caught Offside that Skriniar will look to leave the French giants this summer.

Everton are among the clubs who have been keeping tabs on him. But Fenerbahce want to sign him permanently, and there’s also interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.

It’s stated that Skriniar has impressed at Fenerbahce with his ‘leadership, composure, and tactical intelligence’.

Fenerbahce are preparing to open negotiations over a transfer soon, and it’s reported PSG – who booked their place in the Champions League semi-finals this week – could demand around £17 million for a sale.

Everton are set to lose Michael Keane this summer when his contract ends, which would leave just three centre-back options for Moyes.

So at least one new centre-back is paramount this summer. Facundo Medina is another player Everton may look at signing.

Skriniar could be well suited to the Premier League

Fenerbahce will seemingly do their level best to keep hold of Skriniar, but it remains to be seen if they can agree a deal.

Skriniar has been linked with a move to the Premier League for years but as of yet, he has still never played in the English top-flight.

But perhaps he might fancy an move to Everton, and want to be a part of the club’s exciting new dawn at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Milan Skriniar for PSG and Fenerbahce (2024/25)
Appearances – 14
Minutes played – 1192
Pass completion rate – 96.5%
Tackles won – 7/12
Aerial duels won percentage – 58.3%
Yellow/red cards – 2/0

He could suit the Premier League, as according to the Slovak Spectator, he is a ‘A strong tackler’.

WhoScored not that Skriniar’s passing is one of his strengths, and that is evidence by a very impressive completion rate of 93% for the current season (club and country).

Skriniar has also always been a leader, which always helps.
