Everton could now suffer a second point deduction if Burnley, Leicester and Leeds United are successful with their compensation.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who have reported that Everton could be forced into administration.
The Toffees were handed a ten-point deduction this week after they were found guilty of breaching financial fair play rules.
Everton posted losses of £124.5 million over a three-year period up to the 2021/22 campaign, while the Premier League will only permit clubs to lose £105m.
Burnley, Leicester and Leeds confirmed their intention to sue Everton for a whopping £300m – £100m each – after the latter two were relegated to the Championship earlier this year, while the Clarets have just returned to the top flight after one season out.
The three clubs have shared their frustrations that Everton weren’t punished last season, with a ten-point deduction meaning the Toffees would have been relegated last season.
They will now push ahead with their plan following the decision made by the Premier League’s independent regulator, meaning Everton now face being plunged into administration.

Are Everton destined for the Championship?
If the Merseyside outfit are forced into administration then they would automatically be handed a further nine-point deduction, meaning they would have been docked 19 points in total.
That would leave Everton glued to the bottom of the table on minus five points – eleven points from safety.
While the Toffees are in very good form and are far from the minimal level of Luton Town, Sheffield United and Burnley, it would take a miracle for them to make up the eleven points needed.
Sean Dyche’s side would be all but relegated and will be desperate to avoid going into administration if it will guarantee them a place in the Championship.
Things would only go from bad to worse in the second tier, with Everton’s new stadium set to open during the 2024/25 season, while they would face losing a lot of players who are raking in six figures per week.
