Everton have moved quickly to sign a Jack Grealish replacement following his season-ending injury.

Jack Grealish has been ruled out for the season after sustaining a stress fracture to his foot, which requires surgery.

As such, Everton have quickly advanced in a deal to sign Tyrique George on an initial loan with an option to buy.

Everton fans have been reacting to the signing on TalkingPoints, and they all have the exact same concern.

Everton fans concerned David Moyes will be too cautious with Tyrique George

Tyler Dibling joined Everton with a big reputation, and supporters were expecting the talented teenager to play a key role this season.

However, Moyes has only given Dibling four Premier League starts and it’s been a similar situation for fellow youngster Adam Aznou.

If you could sign one player, who would it be Everton fans? 🤩

As such, Toffees supporters are quite concerned that Moyes will do the same thing with George.

“That’s all well & good my only two concerns are will he get game time under Moyes & would Moyes deploy him on the wings as he is very quick and able to beat a man or is the lad going to sit on bench.”

“Just hope he gets playing time quicker than Dibling did?”

“I hope Moyes plays him and not see him as one for the future.”

“Is he another one for the future like 40 million pounds Dibling?”

This TalkingPoint user is optimistic: “Fast direct player who has a great shot in both feet. What’s not to like? Just what we need. Adds that pace we so lack. Great signing IF completed.”

Another commented: “Buzzing. Great talent and someone who’ll be quick and direct in the wide areas. Exactly what we need.”

David Moyes has shown more trust in youth lately

In fairness to Moyes, the narrative that he doesn’t really trust young players isn’t very accurate at all, especially of late.

Harrison Armstrong, who recently celebrated his 19th birthday, has just started four Premier League games in a row for the Toffees.

Dibling hasn’t really looked great in his cameo appearances, so his lack of starting opportunities is understandable.

With Aznou, Moyes just wants the young left-back to develop physically before he throws him into Premier League action.

That said, considering George has already played 37 times for Chelsea’s senior team, the 2006-born is more than likely going to start on a regular basis.
