Many Everton fans commented on what Beto doesn’t offer which Calvert-Lewin does, adding more concern to the no.9’s absence.
@howardskendolls said: “People can keep telling me about Beto, but he’s just not a good footballer. If Dom is injured and on his way out, I’d sell Beto, send Broja back and start from scratch. There are players out there. Some would love a stepping stone Premier League club.”

Everton have to invest in a striker this January
Moyes will surely be silently in agreement with the Everton fans after watching Beto’s performance for 80 minutes.
Calvert-Lewin’s injury is extremely unfortunate, especially after fans hailed Calvert-Lewin in Everton’s win over Tottenham.
But unfortunately for Beto, he’s not the way forward.
