Rayan Cherki is severely in demand at the moment as Everton are showing an interest in the French talent.
The Toffees will be hoping to end the January transfer window in style with some new signings to help morale around the club.
There will no doubt be pressure on The Friedkin Group as they will want to ensure their promise of two signings for Moyes.
Having not been in their role long, it wouldn’t exactly please Everton fans who have already struggled this season.
Cherki is someone the fanbase looks on with fondness, as his likely destination has been revealed this window.

Rayan Cherki’s ‘likely’ destination after Everton and Liverpool interest
Everton have shown interest in Cherki and it emerged they could suit the Frenchman more than Merseyside rivals Liverpool.
It was revealed that Cherki has a £18.6m clause at Lyon, which will have certainly intrigued Everton fans.
The only problem is, this has also intrigued the rest of Europe for the 21-year-old’s signature.
This has lead to TEAMTALK revealing where Cherki might find himself come February, and it doesn’t make for good reading if you’re a Toffees supporter.
They ‘understand’ that there is more concrete interest in Cherki from Germany, and that is believed to be the Frenchman’s ‘most likely’ destination at this stage.
It was also confirmed by the source that the midfielder has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Lyon owner John Textor, who failed to take over Everton, that a bid of £19m would suffice for Cherki to see the exit door.
Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen have shown interest and they are considered the leading suitors in the race, which lands Everton a big blow in signing Cherki.

Cherki moving to Everton never seemed like a possibility
With Moyes having wanted to sign Philogene before his move to Ipswich Town, you can clearly see that the Everton boss wants someone in this position, and Cherki certainly fits the bill.
You rarely see a versatile midfielder who can play in several positions, and judging by his statistics this season he’s considered a gem in today’s game.
| Cherki’s statistics in Ligue 1 with Lyon this season | |
| Appearances | 14 |
| Goals/Assists | 3/3 |
| Pass accuracy % | 84.3% |
| Chances created | 32 |
| Touches in opposition box | 65 |
These numbers emphasise the fact why Everton wouldn’t be of interest to Cherki, who will no doubt be tempted by Dortmund and Leverkusen who play Champions League football.
The harsh reality is Moyes will have to better the Toffees’ position in the Premier League before they can even look the way of Europe’s elite talent.
