Everton picked up another win at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as they defeated Mansfield Town 2-0 in the Carabao Cup.
David Moyes’ side have now made it two wins in two at the 52,000-seater stadium, with Carlos Alcaraz and Beto scoring the goals this evening.
Jack Grealish looked a real threat again and was actually booed by the Mansfield Town fans, as they seemingly recognised he was causing problems in the final third.
Tyler Dibling made his Everton debut and looked lively on the right-hand side, but perhaps the most notable performer was young Harrison Armstrong.
Here’s what Everton fans had to say about his performance.

Everton fans react to Harrison Armstrong’s performance vs Mansfield Town
Harrison Armstrong had a superb loan spell at Derby County last season, and he has returned as a much more mature midfielder.
That was certainly on show against Mansfield as he registered two assists to collect the Man of the Match award.
Here’s what Everton fans had to say about his display.
“Going to be some player Harrison Armstrong, top performance tonight,” @EvertonBlueArmy posted.
@TacticallyMatt commented: “Harrison Armstrong has got so much about him. Crazy that he’s only 18.”
“Reminds me of Rodri. I know that may sound exaggerated, but he definitely has that air of a player who’s indifferent to pressure. Always finds the right pass,” @vjohns1001 explained.
@JHarrisCFC added: “Has to stay in the squad for me this season, especially considering the lack of midfielders currently.”
Harrison Armstrong has Championship interest
Armstrong has been linked with a late exit before the transfer window slams shut this coming Monday.
Three Championship clubs want to sign Armstrong on a season-long loan deal, with Derby one of the clubs keen on bringing him back to Pride Park.
Blackburn Rovers and Hull City are understood to be the two other clubs, however, after last night’s display, it’s hard to imagine Moyes sanctioning his departure over the next few days.
The 18-year-old could play a key role in the first team this season, especially with the midfield ranks a little light.
