Everton have drawn to Manchester United in the Premier League, with David Moyes’ side somewhat unlucky to come away with a point.

Beto and Abdoulaye Doucoure struck first, but then Manchester United responded through Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte.

But the game’s drama was far from over, and VAR once again stole the show. Ashley Young thought he had a penalty in the dying embers, but the officials overturned it.

Everton had some good performances on the day. Beto was inspired, Doucoure was solid – but a lot of the Toffees squad fought valiantly.

That includes Jesper Lindstrom, who is getting better and better in an Everton shirt.

Everton fans backing Jesper Lindstrom

After a shaky start at Goodison Park, fans are now starting to see the whole appeal of Lindstrom. They’re all saying once he gets his first goal – he’ll really kick on.

One writes: ‘I cannot tell ya the limbs when you score your first goal lad, we see ya hard work and everything you’re doing for the team don’t worry’.

Another put: ‘So unfortunate you had to come off lad. You had that right side on lock. Goal coming soon.’

‘You genuinely are getting better and better. We see it week in and week out. Keep it up brother. The goal and assists will come. We believe in you’, says one more.

Two more Evertonians show support: ‘Getting better every game, the goal will come!’ and ‘The goal’s coming’ they say.

Lindstrom says Everton should’ve beaten Manchester United

The Danish winger took to Instagram after the fixture to show support to the fans, whilst also admitting that the Toffees should’ve beat the Red Devils.

He wrote: ‘Deserved all three today, but we take the one point and focus on the next game on Wednesday’.

Lindstrom will try to find his first goal for Everton as they face Brentford on Wednesday. Will he succeed?
