Everton have made contact to sign Rangers striker Hamza Igamane this summer transfer window.
David Moyes has again enquired about Igamane, having tried to land his signature during the winter window.
The Morocco international has actually agreed personal terms with Lille, however, that deal is now at a total standstill as the two clubs can’t agree a fee.
Rangers are sticking to their £15m valuation, which is a very feasible price for the cash-rich Toffees, with the Friedkin Group now at the helm.
Everton fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to a potential Igamane transfer.

Everton fans react to Hamza Igamane links
Everton fans are actually pretty underwhelmed by the prospect of Igamane joining.
“Not this one again now we’ve signed Barry there are other areas of the pitch that are in desperate need of attention i.e. wingers, central midfield, right back, left back, etc,” @GreeneyPau20116 posted.
@1BearTruth added: “Lmfao why would we go in for this guy? If we were after a decent 3rd striker I’d love us to get Georges Mikautadze from Lyon.
“Absolutely not good enough,” @EvertonJimbob said.
“Underwhelming if true,” @StarCityBoy11 commented.
@Daeno85 isn’t happy with the link: “He’s garbage.”
“Enquire FC at it again. That must be our 50th Enquiry, 10th Thinking about, 7th Monitoring, 22nd Weighing up, 43rd Interested in,” @PapaSmurf1878 joked.
Igamane stats 2024/25
Igamane only joined Rangers last summer, and when he first arrived, it seemed like somewhat of a gamble.
The 22-year-old arrived from Moroccan side AS FAR Rabat, but it’s become pretty evident that Rangers have pulled off an inspired signing.
Igamane was the top scorer in the Europa League at one stage and ended the campaign with four goals, just a few behind Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, who shared the Golden Boot award with Ayoub El Kaabi and Kasper Hogh.
- 46 appearances
- 16 goals
- 3 assists
Rangers have him tied down on a contract until 2029, so Everton will have to meet their valuation if they’re to land his signature.
