Everton fans are saying the same thing after seeing Ipswich draw with Fulham

Everton look all set for a relegation battle, having won just one of their last 11 Premier League games – and some have reacted to Ipswich Town’s draw with Fulham today.

Everton crashed to a 1-0 defeat on Saturday against Bournemouth, and it was another awful display from Sean Dyche’s side.

David Brooks scored the game’s only goal at the Vitality Stadium.

Had it now been for Jordan Pickford, it could have been a much bigger scoreline.

Everton once again lacked attacking threat, and did not have a single shot on target the whole game. After the game, pundit Chris Sutton was left shocked by Everton’s goal tally of 15 so far this season.

Sean Dyche left Everton fans furious after the defeat to Bournemouth, as he attempted to gloss over the run of results over the past couple of months.

The Friedkin Group have backed Dyche following their takeover of the club, but the new owners will surely have a big decision to make soon if things don’t pick up.

A relegation battle seems to be on the horizon, and some Evertonians have been left very worried watching Ipswich Town today.

Earlier today in the Premier League, Everton’s relegation rivals were in action against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Tractor Boys started the day two points behind Everton, but a 2-2 draw means the gap is now down to just one point.

Ipswich actually took the lead twice, first through Sammie Szmodicz and then through Liam Delap via the penalty spot.

It was a courageous away performance from Kieran McKenna’s side, and they were a tad unlucky to draw in the end, with a tired challenge from Leif Davis leading to a Fulham penalty at the death. This, after Raul Jimenez had already scored once from the penalty spot.

Ipswich may not have won, but their performance was enough for some Everton fans to really express their concern.

Ipswich look a better bet to stay up than Everton

They may be a point behind Everton in the league table right now, but it’s hard to argue that Everton have a better chance of surviving than Ipswich.

Everton have had a paltry nine shots on target over the last nine games, which is just shocking.

Ipswich may ship goals, but at least they find the net a bit more often and in Liam Delap, they are a seriously talented striker.

But Ipswich have shown this season that they’ll fashion chances and have a go.

Everton’s current way of playing under Dyche is simply unsustainable, and TFG may be forced into a decision they don’t particularly want to make having just taken over. But few would argue against them doing that at this point.
