Thierno Barry has really struggled in his first season at Everton.

Barry arrived in a £30m transfer from Villarreal last summer, so naturally, Everton fans had big expectations.

But, the young Frenchman has failed to deliver, netting just six goals in the Premier League.

How do you feel about Moyes’ treatment of Tyrique George? 🫣

David Moyes has admitted he’s been disappointed with Barry, who has lost his place in the starting line-up to Beto in recent weeks.

With that said, we asked our TalkingPoints and Facebook users whether the Toffees should just cut their losses and sell him this summer transfer window.

Wonder how much we’d be able to sell him for…😬

Everton fans agree Thierno Barry should be sold this summer

When asked if Barry should be sold this summer, Everton fans all agreed that he’s quite simply not good enough and should be moved on.

Although Barry is still a young and developing striker, it’s quite clear to see that his technical ability is miles away from being good enough for the Premier League.

Plus, Everton are striving to become a European club, so they can’t afford to carry players who have little chance of getting up to that level.

The players deserved so much more… 😡

Jermaine Beckford has noticed that Barry’s movement is poor, and the former Toffees striker pointed that out when the Frenchman was in good form.

So, that shows even during his purple patch, the 23-year-old was still making fundamental errors.

The Toffees are already looking at signing a striker ahead of the summer transfer window, with Alexander Sorloth and Troy Parrott linked to Merseyside.

Parrott is reportedly available for around £15m, so it’d be a no-brainer to sign the Republic of Ireland international.
