Everton signed Tyrique George from Chelsea on transfer deadline day earlier this month.
Tyrique George joined Everton on a loan deal until the end of the season, although there is an option to make it permanent in the summer.
George has made three appearances for the Toffees so far, two of which have come from the substitutes’ bench.
George looked bright in his cameo against Manchester United on Monday, but what have Toffees supporters made of the 20-year-old so far?
They’ve given their verdict on the England under-21 international on TalkingPoints.

Could we see George as a number nine? 😮
Everton fans impressed by Tyrique George so far
George has only played 100 minutes of football for Everton since joining, so it’s still very much early days to judge the 20-year-old.
Replying to the TalkingPoint below, fans have stated their first impressions of the Chelsea loanee.
What did you make to George’s cameo? 🧐
- “Yes he played well when he came on. He showed more impact than most of the players out there. I think he should start against Newcastle over Armstrong.
- “Did ok, he at least had a shot on target in 17 min more than our strike force did in 90 min.”
- “George looks a top class player.”
- “Good. Play him from the start in the next match.”
- “Just a normal run-of-the-mill player. Do not understand the logic of having him on loan. We needed a forward who can hold the ball up.”
George has mostly received praise from the fanbase, although he certainly has big boots to fill in Jack Grealish’s absence, so there’s naturally a bit more pressure on him to start delivering quickly.
Speaking earlier this month, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall explained that his former Chelsea teammate has a lot of confidence in his ability.
“You can see even today coming on, he looks comfortable. He doesn’t look nervous,” the Toffees midfielder stated.
“He wants to show what he’s about, he’s got that, not arrogance, but good confidence. If he settles in quickly, he will be a big, big addition to this team.
“I had a little chat with the gaffer and told him what my opinion was. I didn’t really speak to Ty because it’s up to him what he wants to do, but I’m glad that he chose us.
“Obviously I’ve been speaking to him a lot since he’s been here about what happens here, what goes on, how we do things. “
