Everton are weighing up a move to sign Callum Wilson this January transfer window.
It emerged last night that Everton manager David Moyes is keen on signing Callum Wilson from West Ham United.
Wilson could become a free agent as he’s in discussions to terminate his contract with the relegation-threatened Hammers.
The 33-year-old has netted four Premier League goals this term, although he’s only started eight matches.
That said, Toffees supporters have now given their verdict on the potential signing on TalkingPoints.

Everton fans don’t want Callum Wilson
Everton fans have been very vocal on TalkingPoints about their feelings towards Wilson potentially moving to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this month.
Would YOU take Callum Wilson at Everton? 🤔
He can boast 92 goals in 256 Premier League appearances… ⚽️
It’s fair to say, Toffees fans aren’t inspired at all by the potential transfer and are concerned about his injury record.
“Would like to see a greater show of ambition tbh. Decent on his day but the injury record is just too concerning.”
“Good striker on his day, but emphasis on that…he’s always injured. Everton have to aim higher.”
“4 goals in 17 appearances, and he’s 33. Another backward step.”
“No there’s no point he’s always injured, but he is a decent striker when he plays.”
“No. Unless we have a target, we can realistically get at the end of the season. I only want us to sign players we would keep. He is too old.”
“Another backward step he is not required.”
Everton should focus on a more long-term striker
Kinnear has already said Everton won’t be looking to make any quick-fixes in the January transfer window, so the Wilson link is a little strange.
The club should focus on bringing in a more long-term option that still has a decent amount of experience at the top level.
Wolves frontman Jorgen Strand Larsen has been linked to Merseyside, and so too has Al-Ahli’s Ivan Toney.
How much would you pay for Jorgen Strand Larsen in January? 🤨
He scored 14 in the Premier League last season!
Both of those would be much better options as they’re a lot younger but also have proven themselves in the Premier League.
Wolves wonderkid Mateus Mane is also on Moyes’ radar, although he’s only 18 and would be a major risk at this stage.
