Everton are in the market for a new left-back ahead of the summer transfer window.
Vitalii Mykolenko is out of contract at the end of the season, so David Moyes and his Everton chiefs have been drawing up a list of potential replacements.
Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly is on the Toffees’ radar, and it has just emerged that he is open to leaving the Emirates Stadium.
Surely everyone is Moyes in now? 🤔
Lewis-Skelly has found himself on the fringes this season, as he’s started just one Premier League game.
With that said, Everton fans have been reacting to the potential signing of Lewis-Skelly on our Facebook page.

Everton fans would love to sign Myles Lewis-Skelly
Toffees supporters are very excited by the prospect of Lewis-Skelly joining this summer transfer window.
Although one fan made the point that Moyes’ treatment of young players may put him off making the switch to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
- “Yes, he’s got it all.”
- “If we can pull it off then yeah. Just the kind of player we need to drive us forward.”
- “Would be a great signing.”
- “Unreal talent.”
- “Two quality full-backs and a striker, we’ll be bang there for top 4 next season.”
- “The loans going well for Tyrique George, if others see how many minutes he’s played since joining, they’d think twice.”
Everton are facing stiff competition for Lewis-Skelly, as Manchester United are showing an interest in landing his signature.
Brentford are also circling the 19-year-old, who has a contract at the Emirates Stadium until 2030.
Any deal for the six-cap England international would likely cost in excess of £40m, so Moyes would have to weigh up whether funds could be better spent elsewhere.
A striker is thought to be the top priority for Moyes, with Thierno Barry and Beto not up to the level of a European-challenging team.
Alexander Sorloth and Troy Parrott have been linked to the Toffees in recent weeks.
