Everton have added some talented players into David Moyes’ squad in recent years and one has received very high praise.
There is a lot to like about Everton’s season so far, with the Toffees spending Christmas in the top half of the Premier League table.
However, David Moyes will be growing frustrated at Everton’s lack of goals scored in 2025/26.
How are Everton going to cope without Iliman Ndiaye for a month? 😫
Especially after investing in the attacking department so much over the summer. Thierno Barry is struggling for goals since arriving and Tyler Dibling is yet to show his true potential. Jack Grealish has impressed but has only scored twice in the league this season.
Scoring more goals is something that Moyes will be eager to work on, but the promising news is that Everton have some very talented dribblers in the squad.

Edouard Mendy picks out talented Everton dribbler
Former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is a Champions League winner, and he is currently at AFCON looking to win his second medal with Senegal.
Ahead of Senegal’s first AFCON match of 2025, the goalkeeper was building his ultimate Senegalese player and Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye featured.
Who is currently the biggest miss for Everton going into Burnley? 🤕
Via SPL’s Tik Tok, Mendy named Ndiaye as the best dribbler from Senegal.
He could have picked former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane, who is currently playing for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr, but clearly Ndiaye tops his list.
Iliman Ndiaye is among the best in the Premier League
Ndiaye has been a huge success on Merseyside after joining Everton in a £15 million deal in 2024.
His four goals scored in the Premier League rank him as Everton’s top scorer in 2025/26, and it means he will be a huge miss for the Toffees during AFCON.

Everton are concerned about interest in Ndiaye in 2026, and that is because the 25-year-old has emerged as one of the brightest attacking talents in the Premier League.
Recently, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall said Ndiaye is more skilful than Cole Palmer, which shows how highly he is rated around Everton.
