Everton are looking ahead to a much brighter future under the ownership of The Friedkin Group now one full year on from the takeover.
David Moyes has helped to oversee some of the change on Merseyside as he aims to take Everton back into contention for Europe.
The 62-year-old’s ambition may well come just too soon having only really had one full transfer window back at the club.
Everton are looking to add more players over January when the window opens, with a number of areas needing to be bolstered still.
A lot has changed over the first 365 days for the Friedkins and the coming months could see finer tweaks to help progress the club in the right direction.
As much as Everton still need new additions, it is so important that the likes of Iliman Ndiaye and Jarrad Branthwaite are kept at the club.

How Everton feel about Iliman Ndiaye and Jarrad Branthwaite’s future
Fabrizio Romano expects Ndiaye to receive interest next summer on the back of what has been an impressive campaign so far for the winger.
Allowing players like Ndiaye to depart would potentially cast some doubts over the project on Merseyside.
According to Paul Joyce, there is still a feeling of susceptibility inside Finch Farm about Champions League clubs coming calling for their top players.
What concerns do you have about Iliman Ndiaye leaving Everton in the summer?😫
Surely Everton must hand him a new contract!
The report suggests summer interest in Ndiaye is now expected, but Branthwaite’s injury issues this term may well deter previously interested clubs.
Although, it is claimed that it would take a huge offer for either player to be moved on.
Everton no longer need to sell players to combat PSR, as the Friedkins have stabilised the finances at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
However, without European football, clubs like Everton are clearly going to be vulnerable to any interested suitors able to offer the luxury.
Losing Iliman Ndiaye would be a huge blow to Everton’s project
Moyes is pushing Everton to target European qualification this season after some really encouraging results over recent weeks.
The next month or so could be key to these ambitions as Everton face playing without Ndiaye, Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
How much is Iliman Ndiaye currently worth?
Everton’s bigger picture has to be considered and not securing European football would not make this season a failure by any means.
But losing a player like Ndiaye over the summer would certainly put a dent in the Friedkins’ project on Merseyside.
Dewsbury-Hall has been blown away by Ndiaye in the early months of his time at Everton and losing a player of this quality would be a monumental blow.
The only positive is that the 25-year-old still has over three years on his current deal, which provides Everton the power in any potential future negotiations.
But remember, as Everton News reported in October, Everton will consider offering Ndiaye a new deal over the coming months.
