Everton fans will be hoping to see the Friedkins mate a statement signing this summer.
Big months lie ahead of Everton both on and off the pitch as the club prepares for their historic move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
David Moyes has been handed his first summer addition through the permanent signing of Carlos Alcaraz, but no new faces have landed.
With the stadium move on the horizon, the Friedkins are keen to make a big-name addition at Everton to get the fans excited.
There have already been a number of names mentioned with Everton showing interest in Jack Grealish.
The Manchester City winger’s future is looking incredibly uncertain this summer having fallen out of Pep Guardiola’s plans.
Speaking to Everton News, TBR Football’s Chief Correspondent Graeme Bailey has shared an advantage the Toffees may hold in the race to sign the 29-year-old.

Everton hold advantage in Jack Grealish transfer race
Arsenal have pulled out of the race to sign Grealish this summer leaving the door wide open for other Premier League outfits.
Everton are one of the clubs keen to sign Grealish, but it is not going to be a straightforward deal for any side due to the finances involved.
With the winger’s future coming under serious speculation, Bailey has shared an advantage Everton may hold in their Grealish pursuit.
“So to do any sort of deal a loan is the likely scenario; City are willing to do that,” Bailey told Everton News.
Grealish has been left out of Man City’s squad for the FIFA Club World Cup which shows where Guardiola stands on the winger.
“The player is very happy in Manchester and that’s one thing that may play into Everton’s hands that he could stay in the north west. He probably wouldn’t have to move, etc.
“So yeah, it’s more of an opportunistic one for Everton. There’s a few clubs who like him. Everton are one of them.”
Everton hope their new stadium will attract players this summer with the likes of Grealish accustomed to playing in some of Europe’s top venues.
Everton could offer Grealish fresh start
Clearly, Grealish is in desperate need of a fresh start where he can pick up regular minutes in a starting XI.
Wayne Rooney has already backed Grealish and suggested he would even like to manage him at some point.
| 2024/25 Premier League | Total |

Everton look like a club heading in the right direction under the Friedkins with developments off the pitch providing fans with real cause for optimism.
But the new owners will be judged on how they can help their recruitment staff to put a strong squad together for the 2025/26 campaign.
Adding a player like Grealish is going to come at a cost, but it seems as if the Blues are well within the race to land his services.
